Our group focuses on nanoscale scanning probe microscopy, two-dimensional van der Waals material device fabrication, and above all the discovery of new physical phenomena in the quantum worlds and exploration of their potential applications.

In our approach, we combine novel heterostructure device fabrication techniques with cryogenic scanning probe measurements designed to access the atomic scale electronic structure and local thermodynamic properties of materials’ electronic states.
